Wine Business.com reported on Feb 22nd in its daily news the results from the 1. American Wine Blogs Award competition. The overal winner is Dr. Vino's Wine Blog. "Wine Economics" was not listed.

1st Annual Meeting of the AAWE, Tier, May 24-25 2007

The American Assoc. of Wine Economists is holding its 1st Annual Meeting at Trier, Germany.
Trier, a city of 100,000, was a Roman outpost, is located on the Mosel river, and it is the birthplace of Karl Marx. It is worth a visit.
